South East Queensland Water Strategy

The Queensland Water Commission's draft South East Queensland Water Strategy - released on 26 March 2008 – sets out a new approach to regional water planning designed to meet the region’s water supply needs for the next 50 years. The plan sets out a proactive approach to securing our future water supply – including implementing a range of demand management measures and planning for the building of new infrastructure.

The Future in Balance and Healthy Land - Our Future

'The Future in Balance' is an Integrated Natural Resource Management Plan for South East Queensland, designed to establish a shared direction for natural resource management (NRM) in South East Queensland.

'Healthy Land – Our Future' is the first integrated natural resource management (NRM) plan prepared for the region defined as the western catchments of South-east Queensland. It focuses on the coastal catchments of SEQ – from the southern Cooloola Coast to the Queensland-New South Wales border.
