This public user interface provides access to summary data on the performance of infield irrigation application systems that have been audited by industries.
How uniform an irrigation system applies water to a crop is an important element of efficiency and eventual productivity.
This information is derived from irrigation system assessments carried out by people trained in this work. Data is recorded and analysed in the Irrigation Performance Audit Reporting tool (IPART).
You can now view data on the performance of irrigation systems in various catchments in Queensland and other States by clicking on the link below. If you want your system evaluated contact your industry representative.
PIMS unit demonstrated on an irrigation system near Beaudesert
The much anticipated Pressurised Irrigation Monitoring System (PIMS) was demonstrated on a farm irrigation system near Beaudesert on January 22.
Industry Development Officers from the industries participating in the SEQ-IF program gathered at "Rahane" at Oaky Creek to receive initial training in the use of the PIMS equipment and see it demonstrated on the farm's lateral boom irrigator.
In conjunction with Growcom's SEQC Mapping Project Growcom Land and Water staff are offering growers the opportunity to attend joint Farm Management Systems and Land and Water Management Planning workshops to be held in Beerwah and Gatton.
